CPHE's courses on NSF Standards assist NSF clients and prospects in understanding the NSF standards and the product certification process. Each taught by NSF technical managers in their respective programs, CPHE offers the following standards training:
NSF HACCP Manager Certification (Course Fee: $695 General/$395 Regulatory)
In this two-day class, you'll receive instruction in the seven principles of Codex HACCP, how they relate to prerequisite programs, and how to write HACCP Plans and implement HACCP in food processing, distribution and preparation environments. This course is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance. It provides all the information necessary to complete the NSF Certified HACCP Manager examination.
The class is a mixture of lecture and hands-on learning. By the end of the course, you will have written an actual HACCP plan for a fictitious product or process. The schedule allows for plenty of interaction among class members, and lots of time for questions.
At the end of the second day, the NSF HACCP Manager Certification examination is administered.

Implementing SQF-2000 Systems (Course Fee: $600/person)
This course is designed to provide participants with detailed knowledge and understanding of SQF and the SQF 2000 Code. The first part of this two-day course is a general overview of the core SQF requirements and the second part is a detailed overview of the SQF-2000 Code.

SQF-2000 (Second Day)
Trainees will be guided through each element of the SQF 2000 Code so they can understand the requirements needed to gain SQF 2000 Certification. Although all three levels will be addressed, an emphasis will be placed on Level 3.
All course materials and a certificate of attendance are included in the registration fee.
An examination is optional after taking this course in order to receive a certificate from SQFI. This exam is an additional fee of $50 invoiced by SQFI and must be taken online by participating trainees. Instructions on taking this exam will be given at the course.

Implementing the BRC Global Standard (Course Fee: $600)
Implementing the BRC Global Standard is a two-day course covering the detailed requirements for all implementers and auditors of the GFSI approved BRC standard.

NSF HealthGuard Certified Professional Food Manager (Course Fee: $130)
This is the traditional one-day training course that leads to testing and certification for food managers, food handlers, and persons-in-charge. The class is directly followed by the Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) examination provided by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.
Taught by experienced instructors the class covers all aspects of food safety training as well as an introduction to the concept of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). There will be many examples given and stories told about real-life food safety issues.
When held at NSF International Headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, the course fee includes the class, the NSF HealthGuard CPFM manual, the test, and catered lunch.
