NSF International’s Shanghai Laboratory Earns ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation to Provide Local Foodservice Equipment Testing Services to Manufacturing Companies in China and Throughout Asia

NSF International, an independent global public health and safety organization that develops standards, and tests and certifies products for the food equipment, dietary supplement, water and consumer goods industries, has achieved ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service (CNAS) for its laboratory in Shanghai, China. This accreditation enables NSF’s Shanghai lab to provide local, accredited third-party testing and certification services to foodservice equipment manufacturers with production facilities in China and throughout Asia, helping to reduce testing turnaround times and shipping costs. > Read More

NSF International Releases Atorvastatin Calcium Reference Standard Kits to Help Manufacturers Maintain the Highest Quality Standards

NSF International, an independent global public health organization that develops high quality reference standards, now has Atorvastatin Calcium Reference Standard Kits, which are traceable to official U.S. (USP) and European pharmacopeial (EP) standards. Two versions are available, the compendial organic impurities and the required series of enantiomeric impurities. Pharmaceutical manufacturers can utilize the kits to demonstrate the identity, purity, quality and strength of their Atorvastatin Calcium products. > Read More

NSF International Developing Science-Based Product Category Rule for Flat and Float Glass to Enable Environmental Attribute Reporting and Comparison Throughout Entire Product Life Cycle

NSF International, in cooperation with the Glass Association of North America’s (GANA) Float Glass Manufacturing Division, is developing a Product Category Rule (PCR) for flat and float glass. Flat glass includes sheet glass, plate glass, rolled glass and float glass* and is used in a wide range of architectural, auto and decorative applications. This PCR will provide a science-based and internationally recognized method for reporting the environmental impact of glass products and materials throughout their entire life cycle. > Read More
