Kids are more likely to get food poisoning than most adults are. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has estimated that kids under 4 years old are 4.5 times more likely to acquire bacterial infections from food compared to adults between 20 and 49 years old. Knowing fact from fiction when it comes to food safety risks could mean the difference between safe kids and sick kids.
