Roxanne Beavers

As Senior Technical Reviewer, Food Supply Chain at NSF, Roxanne Beavers supports clients seeking organic certification from Quality Assurance International, an NSF company. She ensures that requirements are met for the applicable organic regime, including the National Organic Program, Canadian Organic Regime and Quebec Organic Reference Standards. She also trains and serves as a resource to NSF’s organic certification team.

Beavers has worked in the industry for nearly two decades, including as a grower of certified organic produce and an inspector of organic farms and food processors. Prior to joining NSF in 2014, she worked for the Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network and Organic Agriculture Center of Canada.

Beavers has a Bachelor of Environmental Science in Ecology from the University of Guelph and a Master of Science in Agriculture from Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Agricultural College. She serves as an Information Member of the Canadian Organic Standards Technical Committee, and a Board Member on the Organic Material Review Institute.
