Elizabeth Figueredo

As Quality and Regulatory Manager, Organic Product Certification at NSF and QAI, Elizabeth “Liz” Figueredo supports clients seeking organic certification from Quality Assurance International, an NSF company. She ensures that requirements are met for the USDA’s National Organic Program, CFIA’s Canadian Organic Regime and NSF’s Organic Personal Care Standard. She also trains and serves as a subject matter expert to NSF’s organic certification team, QAI.

Figueredo has 15 years of professional experience in the organic industry. Since joining NSF in 2004, she has worked as a Technical Reviewer, Inspector and Quality Specialist.

Figueredo has a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Michigan University. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Accredited Certifiers Association, Task Group Chair on Labeling for the Joint Committee on Organic Personal Care, and an active member of the Organic Trade Association.
