Kathryn Foster

Kathryn Foster is the Senior Operations Manager for Water Systems at NSF. Foster has 15 years of experience working in drinking water and wastewater standards and is the current voting member for NSF on the Joint Committee on Drinking Water Additives and the Joint Committee on Wastewater Technologies.

Foster holds a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University, and an M.S. in Cell and Developmental Biology from The University of Michigan. Prior to joining NSF, she spent several years working in biomedical research, studying signal transduction pathways and carcinogenesis.
