Leanne Blommaert is the Manager of Food Research and Development at NSF. Her teams are responsible for supporting clients in the food and beverage industries with product development and regulatory compliance. She is based out of NSF’s Guelph, Ontario location, home to the NSF Guelph Food Lab.

Blommaert has an extensive background in food safety, product development and operations, having served in positions at Campbell Company of Canada and Cuddy Food Products. In addition to working as a technologist in both food and beverage product development, she has served in several roles in quality assurance.

She is currently a member of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology Board of Directors. Blommaert holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Food and Nutrition from Brescia College and the University of Western Ontario.
