As Technical Scheme Lead, Sustainability, Stacey DeSantis leads NSF’s circularity, electronic waste (eWaste) and materials management teams. DeSantis also leads the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (QEHS), Responsible Care®(RC) and RCMS standard teams. In her role, she helps clients navigate standard and accreditation requirements while providing technical assistance to auditors in the field and support staff.

DeSantis joined NSF in 2021 and has more than a decade of environmental health and safety experience. Her audit teams support clients seeking e-waste recycling certifications, including Responsible Recycling (R2), Recycling Industry Operating Standard™ (RIOS™) and e-Stewards, and quality environmental health certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RC14001® and RCMS®.

DeSantis has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Michigan University. She is a member of the R2 Technical Advisory Committee.
