Oliver Christ Dipl.-Ing.
Oliver P. Christ has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry and holds an electrical engineering degree. He was the founder and CEO of PROSYSTEM, which was acquired by NSF in 2017. He was involved in international standardization projects for medical devices on ISO 14971 risk management, IEC 62304 medical software, IEC 60601-1 electrical equipment and systems, and IEC 62366-1 usability. He was also one of the founding members of the ISO 14971 committee in 1996.
Oliver is the head of the German National Committee on Medical Electrical Equipment and Systems, which monitors global standards for medical devices (safety, security, risk management and artificial intelligence). In 2011, he became a member of an international advisory board for the International Electrical Commission (IEC), serving on its technical committee TC62 (medical equipment) - SNAIG (on software, networks and artificial intelligence).
