Amalgam Separator Certification

NSF’s team of experts evaluates dental amalgam separators against the requirements of ISO 11143 to ensure they reduce amalgam particles in the wastewater of dental treatment centres, which limits the amount of mercury entering sewage systems.

Certification includes requirements for the efficiency, safety and functionality of amalgam separators, as well as for marking and instructions for use, operation and maintenance.

We certify that your amalgam separator meets the ISO standard requirements and adheres to all NSF policies. The NSF mark demonstrates compliance with all ISO 11143 requirements.
