NSF Vietnam Hosts Successful “Commercial Food Equipment Testing and Certification” Seminar in Ho Chi Minh City
On October 14, 2024, NSF Vietnam proudly welcomed over 50 participants to the “NSF Commercial Food Equipment Testing and Certification” seminar held at La Vela Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Led by Mr. Sam Cole, Director of Food Contact Evaluations at NSF, the event offered an in-depth exploration of the rigorous standards required to achieve NSF certification, guiding participants through the certification process, material safety, and product design requirements.
With around 54 industry leaders from 35 organisations in attendance, the seminar provided a valuable opportunity to network and share critical insights on NSF standards, certifications, and hygienic design principles.

- Food Equipment Standards: Deepening understanding of material safety, product performance, and construction standards.
- Hygienic Design Principles: Emphasising the importance of hygienic design for manufacturers, food processors, and distributors to ensure compliance and safety.
The session, which ran from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, was filled with engaging discussions and concluded with a highly interactive Q&A session, where participants delved into key industry challenges and opportunities.
