Program Description

The two-day course is designed to provide attendees with a thorough understanding of the FSSC 22000 standard relevant to food packaging material. It provides insight to easily understand the requirements of ISO 22000, ISO 220002-4 and the additional FSSC 22000 version 6 requirements.

Who should attended this course:

Food Safety team members and leaders or any own actively involved with the establishing and implementing of the food safateyu management based on the FSSC 22000 packaging material.

An email address is required for registration and to receive the login instructions.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the training course through NSF’s eLearning portal. Any additional information pertaining to the course will be sent in your confirmation email.

You will find your course material and homework/exam on the NSF Learner portal. You will need to access the portal in order to successfully complete the course and print your certificate. Upon successful course completion, you will gain access to print your official NSF Certificate.

Course Objective

At the end of the program, you will be able to apply the knowledge gained of ISO 22000, ISO 220002-4 and the additional FSSC 22000 version 6 requirements and apply to your own food safety management system.

•Understand the requirements set out in ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System for any organization in the food chain, ISO / TS 22002-4  Food Packaging Manufacturing and the FSSC 22000 Additional Requirements

•Be able to implement the requirements of ISO 22000:2018 and ISO / TS 22002-4 Food Packaging Manufacturing.

•Understand and implement the Additional Requirements

•Be prepared to develop your food safety management system to meet FSSC 22000 V6.0 for food packaging manufacturing

•Know how to implement ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System, ISO / TS 22002-4 and the Additional Requirements

•Be able to explain the requirements of ISO 22000:2018 and ISO / TS 22002-4 Food Packaging Manufacturing

 

Online Exam Information: 

You must have a valid email address to receive your login and password information. 

The exam is open book, which means that you may refer to any notes taken during the course, as well as relevant training materials. You will be allowed a total of two attempts to successfully complete the examination. 

Once started, you will have 120 minutes per attempt to compete the exam. Learners may NOT stop and resume the examination at a later time. Once started, you must complete the attempt within 120 minutes. 

Upon successful completion of the online exam, your NSF Certificate of Accomplishment is immediately available for download as PDF and for printing.  

The online exam must be completed within 10 days of having completed the training course, following which, the exam access will expire. 

If you do not pass after two attempts, you will need to re-register for the course and pay the full registration fee.

You will need regular access to a computer with an internet connection. High speed broadband access (LAN, Cable or DSL) is recommended.

This course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the requirements of Issue 7, including the objectives of fundamental clauses and statements of intent. Delegates will learn how audits against the Standard operate including preparation, the audit, non-conformities, corrective actions, root cause analysis and certificate issue.

Active learning will be used throughout the course utilizing case study-based activities to encourage critical thinking and help explain how sites will implement the Standard and how auditors will audit against the Standard.
